American B includes more than 100 contemporary photographers, from more than 25 countries, who created new works from the photographic archive that we found in American A. Among its pages we observed a variety of styles such as photojournalism, fashion photography or conceptualism , among others.

Each edition of »Ein Magazin über Orte« (A Magazine about Places) spotlights a specific place from a number of very different angles. In what is by now its ninth issue the magazine tells us of its hometown Berlin. At first glance the focus of the magazine is not on the people living there, but rather on the city’s urban landscapes and small scenarios. In more than 70 works by artists like Rainer Fetting, Carsten Kaufhold or Amelie von Wulffen, by photographers like Sibylle Bergemann, Axel Hütte, Arwed Messmer or Jürgen Teller, and in poems and short texts by authors like Jürgen Becker, Kerstin Hensel, Durs Grünbein or Lutz Seiler, different perspectives on the metropolis Berlin in its constant changes and transitions appear without glorifying it.
